iPad picture book

Over the past couple of months me and Mike from Nessy and the brilliant animators and programers from Complete Control have been working on a top secret(ish) interactive picture book project. I saw my first glimpse or it up and running on Friday and I can safely say that it's the best thing in the world, ever!

Here's an early sketch of the characters. I'll post more nearer the release.

Exciting stuff and things

I've been working on some original comics for Nitro magazine over the past few weeks. Between that and the strip being drawn by the tres bon comic artist Toby Pearce, there's going to be some fun comic based things going on in Nitro over the next few months.

I'll post more info about it all soonish....

Nessy Games

Here's a few more Nessy games that I worked on some time ago and which have recently been released. These are boxes of card games which work with the literacy rules in the books featured in a previous post.

For a while my job largely involved testing/playing these card games, which was all good fun. A game that we devised called 'You've been Skunked' was my personal favorite.

Naughty Chicken blog a go go!

My studio roomy (Leah Heming: Illustrator, artist, adventurer) has taken what we like to call the initiative and started a blog for Naughty Chicken Press. Naughty Chicken is the name that we used to publish Art Bastard and which we will use for future small press comic projects.
