Some artwork for Monkeytown

I drew these for our upcoming Monkeytown game for Nessy. I played the final game yesterday for the first time and was really pleased with it. Will be released (for free no less) very soon. Will post more artwork from it tomorrow.

Nessy Reading Launches

I've already posted a few of my doodlings from this but I can now officially unvail our brand new US literacy program: Nessy Reading.  It was a huge undertaking and from my perspective it required an mind boggling amount of drawings.

I'll post a few screen shots from it over the next few days, but if you'd also like a free go on it you can at http://play.nessy.com/freeplay

Sunshine Bay

Today I'm working on a micro comic to give away at Thought Bubble festival next month. It's going to be two mini stories based in the fictional seaside town of Sunshine Bay.

I originally sketched the stories as part of a pitch to the mighty Phoenix comic in spring last year and here's one of the drawings from that pitch (used as postcard on which I wrote my covering letter).

Chimp Fu Temple

A little preview of some of the work I've been doing at Nessy on an upcoming project. This artwork is for a pan in the intro of a game called Chimp Fu...

And here's how it looked animated...

Location Design Fun

I designed this location for a comic story that I've been drawing lately. I'm not sure why but I always think that buildings in pictures look more appealing if they're bendy and wonky. A cartoonist to the bitter end!
