The dreaded commute

I found a way to make my commute to Nessy feel less like a miserable chore of doom: treat it as a moderately priced life drawing class!  I went on a bit of sketch frenzy yesterday on the way home and here's the result (there's a lot more, mainly of the half drawn tops of people's heads).

  1. Lovely stuff, can't beat those free life models can you.

Wonder if we have sketched the same person at some point in time ?

  2. Maybe we have. Actually you and your blog inspired me to be less coy with my sketching! I just gawp straight at people right next to me like a mental these days.

  5. Ha ha, I've probably got the obscene word generator ticked somewhere in settings. The pens are called Kuretake Fudegokochi Brush Pens and as far as I'm aware you can only get them over t'interweb at http://www.cultpens.com . They're great for sketching but there are some issues with using them for artwork (don't resist rubbers well and they aren't waterproof).
